Beach weather can be unpredictable, so I closely monitor the forecast leading up to your session. I typically wait until about 24 hours before to make any decisions, since conditions can change quickly. If i do need to reschedule, I’ll work with you to find the best available time based on both of our schedules and the forecast. Please note: if you booked a sunrise or sunset session, I can’t guarantee the same lighting time will be available for the reschedule.
If you’re visiting from out of town and Iam not able to find a new date, I’ll refund your retainer as a courtesy.
Your full edited gallery will be ready in 2–3 weeks. Need it sooner? Just ask—I’ll always do my best to accommodate! Summer is my busiest season, so while I can’t guarantee a rush, I’ll prioritize time-sensitive sessions when possible.
If you’re using your photos for save the dates or announcements, let me know and I’ll make sure to get you a sneak peek in time.
Yes! I’m happy to meet you at your hotel if there’s beach access or scenic grounds. I’m also familiar with most local resorts and can suggest nearby spots if needed. Just keep in mind, not all hotels are ideal for photos. Some can be crowded or busy, so if that’s the case, we might want to choose a quieter location close by.
Think about when your kids are happiest! Sunrise sessions are great for early risers, and sunset works well for kids who do better later in the day.
To get a rough idea, just Google “sunrise” or “sunset Myrtle Beach” for your session date. For sunset, we’ll typically start about an hour before. For sunrise, we usually begin about 15 minutes after the listed time. Once you book, I’ll confirm the exact timing based on your
session length.
Yes! I carry all required business licenses and photography permits for the areas that need them. I’m currently licensed to work in Horry County, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Conway. I also photograph in surrounding areas that don’t require a permit.
… and yes I am insured also!
I don’t cap the number of images you receive. Instead, I carefully edit and deliver all of the best photos from your session. “Best” means images that are technically sound, thoughtfully composed, and where everyone looks their best, yes, eyes open included. This allows each gallery to truly reflect your session, rather than fitting into a preset number.
